Portia recently performed the role of Mrs Griggs in a public reading of a new play called "Workers United".

The play is about the Silvertown Strike in 1889 in East London, that changed the course of Trade Unionism and the Labour Movement.

The reading took place at a new venue called - The Tate Institute.

The reading was directed by Mark Schaer.
